DHL offers Parcelbroker customers a flexible, easy to use and cost-effective door to door service.

Collection

Make sure that your item is correctly packaged and labelled before the DHL driver arrives. Check that the information is correct on your labels and be sure to sign any necessary paperwork confirming collection.

Collection times cannot be specified, but the DHL driver will usually arrive between 8am and 6pm so you must make sure that someone is available to hand the parcel to the driver. Due to security reasons we cannot collect the item if it has been left outside your office or home if no-one is available, as this compromises the safety of your package.

If you are not there when the DHL courier arrives to collect your parcel, please contact us as soon as possible to re-book your delivery.

Oversized, overweight or unsuitable items

If your item is too large to be collected, weighs over 70kgs or is noted on the Parcelbroker restricted items list, the DHL courier will not be able to take it. This issue should not arise if the dimensions were specified correctly when you booked your carrier.

If there are problems with the collection, you will need to contact our customer support team to cancel your order and re-book your parcel with a suitable carrier. However, you should note that if any overweight, oversized, or unsuitable items are identified after collection by DHL, your items may be returned to you or your delivery will be subject to additional fees and surcharges.

Delivery

When getting a quote from ParcelBroker there will be an estimated transit time next to the service you select. When your item is out for delivery the DHL courier will usually arrive between 8am and 6pm.

If no-one is at the delivery address, the DHL courier will attempt to post the item. If that is not practical, they will either attempt to leave the parcel with a resident at a neighbouring property or find a suitable, secure place to leave it at the address.

The DHL driver will post a calling card so that the recipient can see where the parcel has been left. The card will also contain instructions on how to arrange for redelivery if the DHL courier has been unable to carry out the delivery.
