Send Parcels to Belgium from only £8.84

In 2025, shipping to Belgium from the UK is only half of a steady, growing trade relationship. Government statistics have shown a 5.3% increase in imports and exports between the two countries, bringing the total trade in goods and services to £60.9 billion. Over that period, the UK exported £25.4 billion to Belgium (about two-thirds goods, one-third services) and imported £35.5 billion (predominantly goods). As the UK’s 8th-largest trading partner, the main goods shipping from UK to Belgium are predominantly medicinal & pharmaceutical products, gas, cars and chemicals. Belgian consumers are most interested in vegetables and fruit, cars and oil.

You might even send a parcel to Belgium because of the substantial people links between the two countries (particularly around Brussels and London). While precise, up-to-the-minute statistics aren’t currently available, the best public estimates point to roughly thirty thousand British people living in Belgium and a similar number of Belgian-born residents living in the UK. Rising rates of postage to Belgium from UK are also the result of cross-border e-commerce. Belgian consumers buy a lot from abroad: in fact, around half of Belgian online purchases (55%) are made from foreign websites in recent years.

Those shipping from UK to Belgium might be sending a one-off gift to family in Brussels or a steady stream of orders from your UK shop to customers in Antwerp. In either case, the strong, regular movement of parcels between countries underscores the need for fairly priced delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to deal with customs when sending from the UK to Belgium?

Yes – as the UK is outside the EU customs union, all postage to Belgium from UK travels as an import and needs customs data. Belgian customs will assess import VAT on commercial goods, whatever the value, and may charge customs duty as well if the consignment value is over €150. If you send a parcel to Belgium classified as a gift between private individuals, it may be exempt if the total value is €45 or less and the parcel is correctly declared as a gift. Above €45, Belgian VAT is usually due. For businesses, you’ll include a commercial invoice and your EORI number

How much does it cost to send a parcel from the UK to Belgium?

To send a parcel to Belgium, you can expect to pay as little as £8.84. There are options to add on extra services if you need them, such as cover for fragile or valuable items, and a trackable signature for receipt. ParcelBroker can also quote for multiple deliveries.

The choice is yours, but the price is always kept as low as possible. A quote is easy to access online with our handy ordering system.

How should I address my parcel for delivery to Belgium?

Put the recipient’s name first: on the next line, write the street name followed by the house number. On the following line, place the four-digit postcode before the municipality name, written in capitals, and on the final line write BELGIUM:
